THE STERLING SELECT BOARD’S VACUOUS, INCOMPETENT, POLITICIZED, AND POSTURING DEI QUEENS/DemocRAT TOWN COMMITTEE HACKS, KIRSTEN NEWMAN, RONALD FURMANIUK, AND PATRICIA WARD, VOTED AGAINST EMINENTLY QUALIFIED CAPITAL BUDGET COMMITTEE APPLICANT DANA BRATTLOF BUT, IN THE END, GOT STUFFED (OR, PERHAPS MORE ACCURATELY, GOT STUFFED IN THE END)

SO, good citizen and eminently qualified 40-year Certified Public Accountant, Dana Brattlof (correct spelling), applied to fill an opening on the Sterling Capital Budget Committee. Here are her qualifications as reported by the new Newsletter in Sterling, the Town Common Brief– https://towncommonbrief.substack.com/p/a-strong-addition-to-sterlings-capital — to which I have subscribed and hope you do too–

“· She has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for over 40 years

· Her career includes work in Public Accounting for the prestigious firm of Ernst & Young

· Dana has been the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) along with joint owner and founder of Amherst Securities, a leading U.S. Fixed Income Broker Dealer

· As a private entrepreneur, she has been [in] businesses that range from construction to cattle to wellness.

Sterling is fortunate that someone with these exceptional qualifications—and at a time when the town faces the challenge of getting the most out of property taxes at a time when budgets are strained, both at the personal and governmental levels. There are some people who are just the right fit, for the right job and the right time. Dana Bratloff on the Capital Budget Committee is one of them.”

As you can see, she has more expertise, qualifications, experience, and acumen than Sterling Select Board/Sterling DemocRAT Town Committee BLOVIATING DEI ASSCLOWN QUEENS, Kirsten Newman, Ronald Furmaniuk, and Patricia Ward, combined.

They knew, therefore, that Dana Brattlof was likely to highlight their fiscal irresponsibility and incompetence while disregarding the blatant bullshit they put out for public consumption. Her appointment was up for a vote during a 20 July 2026 joint meeting with the Select Board—

Unsurprisingly, Newman, Furmaniuk, and Ward voted not to appoint her, as reported by the Town Common Brief. BUT those driveling pukes did not have the last word, thankfully for Sterling’s taxpayers. They were out-voted by the Finance Committee and Town Moderator Richard Lane, 2-1. Kudos to them!

Volunteers/applicants must “complete the Citizen Volunteer Form and return it to the Office of the Select Board.”

BUT, as in the case of Dana Brattlof, the Select Board continues to demonstrate that it is comprised of POLITICIZED ASSHOLES who disregard objectively compelling applicant qualifications. WHAT QUALIFIED APPLICANT WANTS TO DEAL WITH POLITICIZED SELECT BOARD ASSHOLES???

SOLUTION: STERLING VOTERS, SMARTEN UP. IN THE NEXT THREE (3) ELECTION CYCLES VOTE TO SHITCAN PATRICIA WARD, RONALD FURMANIUK, AND KIRSTEN NEWMAN.
